Chimera Experiments is a film project organized by Imagine Science Films that merges fiction and scientific nonfiction, shot in diverse cinematic styles by an international group of filmmakers, and featuring stories from the most influential scientists of our time. The Chimera Experiments project will be officially announced at the Simons Foundation on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 7pm, when the theme for the 10th anniversary of the Imagine Science Film Festival will also be revealed. The evening will include a reception hosted by Science Sandbox, a Simons Foundation initiative dedicated to inspiring a deeper interest in science.
